I wish pattern companies would package patterns all ready cut out. Than you could open the package and start pinning. Any body else have a Wish

I wish that most pattern companies would use the paper like Kwik Sew uses, the thicker white paper. Even though I reproduce my patterns, that thin paper is a nightmare especially with kids and pets!
Trying to stay sane in a serging world, could someone bring me MORE coffee!

I wish that pattern companies would STOP changing the sizes and make ALL the companies USE the SAME sizes...

I wish all patterns came with bust adjustments right on the patterns. You know like cut here for D cup.

I wish that pattern companies could make patterns for babies that weren't for michelin tire babies with no legs and football player necks!

What a hoot, Laura! I understand what you are saying as my children were slender with long legs, but as a 'baby nurse' for many many years I have to tell you the majority of babies are Michellin tires! :nervous:

I agree with you Nancy, and probably most of these clothes would fit those chubby ones quite nicely. Our girl is long and lean, comes from 6'5 pappa and 5'10 momma! I'm learning to make the legs and arms and body length longer, though I am finding the Ottobre patterns are really close for size for her.

I wish all stores were required to put contents and amounts purchased on sales slips when buying fabrics. Our Fabricland has one of the worst cash registers in our city - just lists of numbers - I have no idea of I bought milk or fabric or from what store unless I match it up with a credit card slip. :bluesad:

I have to agree with pre cut patterns LOL

and sizes more down to earth and the pattern you like!!

I also think that the notions and supplies needs to be easier to read..

I hate it when I go to the back of the pattern while in a hurry. and only get the fabric, and a few of the notions, only to come home and find another line of supplies needed someone where on the back of the pattern.
This drives me nuts.. usually it is interfacing that you forget

I wish the pattern companies would develop some new and more patterns for little boys!

I wish all of the above to include more patterns for little boys ..even though I don't have boys I wish that for all of you who do!!
I do think life would be sweeter though if the patterns really were precut..I wish the paper were thicker b/c it tears so easily as well!

I so agree with everything everyone has said. I want precut patterns, and thicker paper, and more patterns for boys. There's none really to speak of, which is kind of disappointing.

I'll hop in with the thicker paper. Gosh, I can't tell you how many times that I've ripped a piece off a pattern thanks to one of my dogs "helping". Thankfully that doesn't happen anymore in our new home since I've got a new sewing space. Why can't they make the patterns on paper that's the thickness like the directions that come with the patterns. That would be perfect don't you think?!
