I am looking for the directions for a skirt using only hip and waist measurements. I remember it being called a bow skirt as it had a bow at the top of the slit in the back. You would cut the material some many inches bigger than your hips and sew it together. the waist would be made by adding elastic to the sides of the waist but not the front or back. It could be made any length you want. I made some in college back in '92. I would like to make some more for the spring, but I can't recall all the directions.
Thanks, Jackie

I googled and this is what I came up with...it's NOT what you're looking for but it is interesting!

Panelled skirt directions (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/crispin.roche/panels.htm)

Sorry I couldn't find the exact direction...that skirt sounds interesting!
