Can anyone tell me of an online site to purchase accessory or replacements for a Singer 9000 series sewing machine. After several moves and 25+ years I have dusted the cobwebs off the machine and it is giving me the evil eye for losing all of its feetsies. I think I had better find it some more before it tries to sew my fingers down (agai!)

Thank you much for any help you can give me

Hi Donna,
Have you checked out the Singer site? This is the Singer accessories (http://www.singerco.com/accessories/) page.

Good luck in finding the parts you need.
Take care,
Donna

thanks for the direction

I did try them but could not find my machine listed...which I thought was odd. Maybe I am just looking at it wrong.
I never got along very well with sewing..but I am giving it another try. I am hard headed so maybe this time will be the charm

Donna, the 9000 series wasn't around 25 years ago. Could you be looking for 900 series... 900, 920, 925?

Hi Tom

The manual says SR 9000, the model # on the machine is 9410.
I bought it at a furniture store, (the only place I had a credit account lol)

I am trying to remember exactly how long ago. It was 3-4 moves ago, long before my youngest son was born, which puts it at least 17 years ago, and I am guessing add about 5 years to that, give or take a couple of years.

The sewing battle started when I was in high school sewing class and managed sew the arm to the side of the blouse I was trying to make as my first project. (That was umm between '74-'78)

I have a picture of the machine and the one foot I have if that would help any. (but I don't know how to attach here or if i can)

Thanks for you help,
Donna

Donna those feet are very easy to find. That machine is about 7 to 11 years old.
You need slant needle feet. If you look at the machine from the left hand end you will notice that the needlebar is set in an angle slanting to the front.

I just bought (well my hubby)a teflon foot, roller foot and hemming foot from "anoldreliable" on ebay, she can look for stuff by model number too and then place it on ebay for you (her combined shipping is cheap too)
