Katrina's Angels is having a SHEET's DRIVE!!

We are accepting donations and/or gently used or new sheets to benefit people of disaster.

Your donation will help our volunteers make comforters and bedspreads to keep people warm and to raise funds for families in need.

We have over 100 families registered with Katrina's Angels that we are providing direct relief to (Clothing, Bedding & Household Items). They have all lost everything they owned in the hurricane disasters of 2005, and are so grateful to receive something like this made from loving and caring hands. We would like to put a hand-sewn comforter or bedspread on every adult and child's bed that is on our list, and if you can help in any way, whether that be donating sheets, batting, your time and sewing skills, or a donation, your service will be greatly appreciated by many.

Katrina’s Angels is a grassroots group of volunteers nationwide that remain committed to long-term disaster recovery efforts. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) and among the first registered after Hurricane Katrina. Most Americans have resumed “life as usual” since the Gulf devastation is no longer in everyday news. Their needs, however, remain painfully real and are mounting with urgency. Recovery is estimated to be a decade or longer by most sources. We are committed to being part of the solution for last years national disasters and those in the future.
