I've just made a skirt with an invisible zipper. It looks delightful, but the very bottom of the zipper seems to have a tiny plastic bit that pokes out and scratches my thigh whenever I move! I can't see the zipper, but I sure can feel it! It's such a casual skirt, it's not really meant to be worn with hose, and it would probably put a run in them anyway, based on the scratches on my leg! What can I do about this one folks?

I don't know how much extra zipper you have hanging down on the inside, but I have often zigzagged or hand sewn across the teeth and then snipped off the metal/plastic parts below that. I have a large supply of longish zippers so I don't have to run to the store every time I need one, it is especially easy for invisible zippers. Just make sure you stitch before you snip! (done that too)
