I had asked DH for EB's Egg Money Quilts for my B'day. He also surprised me with "Still Stripping after 25 Years" and also one of her older books "Trio of Treasured Quilts. I told him this A.M. as he was leaving for work" You know what this means, You are going to have to pay for alot more fabric Just had to share my joy. I guess I better get busy. Joanie B |

Thanks for all of the B'day wishes. DH also gave me a "coupon" good for the fabric to make a queen size double wedding ring top. (The coupon he created on his computer, redeemable by him((which means he pays)) . He is taking me to Hancocks Sunday to pick it all out. Joanie B |

Hey ANY man who take's his wife TO THE FABRIC SHOP, without a cattle prod, needs to be CLONED. (and give that man a BIG old kiss...cause he's one in a million). (although mine will go with me and talk to the women, -I- have to trick him into going...he's in MY car and he's captive to where I go..::hee hee: Lucky girl...!!! Chrys

I'm dying to know if the quilt pattern was his idea , or yours ?? Gives me all kinds of romantic thoughts.. If he does not already have one on, I would make sure he has a large wedding ring on his finger at all times.. For a thoughtful man like that, lots of females would be on the prowl.. LOL.. Seriously, he is one in a million.. That is such a good thing to read, in today's world..

Libby: He definitely has on a big ol wedding ring, he sure is 1000% a keeper. I am a very lucky woman to have found him. He requested the double wedding ring quilt. He has his late mothers DWR quilt, it was the last one she made, and he has said he wants one from me. By the way, Monday is our wedding anniversary. Joanie B |

Happy late BD Joanie and happy anniversary early. Yes for a man to take a hint today is wonderful. I gave the hint to my exDIL for Christmas and she told another DIL and she told my son her husband and he told his Dad. Then my husband came home from work that day and said, "Is you sewing machine broke?" I said no why? He said I didn't think so, I heard you wanted a new sewing machine. Smartalic, I said I need a new Serger and you were suppose to surprise me with it that's why I told my exDIL when we were in the store. I even took her over to the machine so she would know which one I wanted. Anyway, he took me to the store and sat in the truck while I went in and bought it. I had it demo'ed before so I knew that was the one I wanted. So you see Joanie, you do have a keeper especially if he can surprise you with what you want. I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

DH was at it again Sunday. He took me to the fabric store and we picked out all of the fabrics for a queen size DWR top. Even with a 40% off coupon on one item it came out to a pretty nice chunk of change. This was the rest of my present. JonaieB |
