Hi...

I'm curious to know if any of the ladies who live in Arizona will be exhibiting at the arts and crafts fair at the festival. I will be going with members of my family and thought it would be fun to meet some of the ladies and see the work that you do. Please let me know if you have a space at the festival and we will drop by your booth.

I am excited about this trip because I have not seen my son and his family since 2003. My granddaughter was only 2 and now is in kindergarten.

Thank you.

HI, I have heard the festival is terrific..my hubby's family is in AZ and have gone before. You'll have to let me know how it is! I wish it was in May b/c that's when we're planning a trip to AZ.. :(

Hi Julie,

My son said it was a must see and of course I like to hit the arts and crafts too. I will certainly tell you all about it, when I return.

Hi, I cannot wait to hear what you thought about it when you get back. We always end up missing it when we go out there. Al's parents have ended up being out here three times over the past 12 months so we only went out once. We're driving this time and I'm really excited although I may say differently when I get home! It's a LONG way from Georgia to Arizona!
When my husband's brother got married, they had a "renaissance" themed wedding and the attire for the wedding party was renaissance fashioned--all handmade. We weren't married then and AL was stationed in Italy so obviously I was not there but I've seen pictures and it looked really nice. Me being such a traditionalist and hearing about it, I was sorta thinking I might now think it was anything nice but in looking at the pictures, I was wrong..
I actually LOVE Arizona. My sinuses have a nice break while we're out there--no humidity!

We go every year, I love the Renassaince Fair and all the shopping as well as the shows! I don't have a booth there but would also be interested if anyone in AZ has one there. We'll be going in a couple weeks.

Julie,

I would rather drive and enjoy the scenery along the way but will not make the trip alone. My son cannot make it by car this trip or we would not be flying. It is about the same distance for me as it is for you and yes, it is a long one. I love AZ too and for the same reasons. When I step out of the jet-way, I can breathe so much better.

Esrun3,

Guess we won't bump into each other  since we will be going next week. Maybe someone will let us know if they have a booth. Have fun.

I may not have hair left when we get home. Taking my 2 girls--the 15 yr old will be ok but the little one who will be 2 in May probably wouldn't enjoy the trip as much. We have a stop in TX we want to make either coming or going though. I am looking forward to the scenary. We'll drive to TX on the first day and spend the night. My 15 yr old has her drivers permit and will get her actual license in Sept so we're planning on letting her drive some of the way :)
We usually fly from Atlanta and the moment I step off the plane, I am sick. I always end up on medications when we come home. It's crazy too b/c I am from Alabama and should be used to the humidity..guess my sinuses enjoy the break too much!

Julie -- I think it is the quick change that does it to the sinuses. It gets me every time.
