Hi All, I happened to find this wonderful website not too long ago. It has just about every sewing topic you can think of (all free instructions - no membership to buy, etc.). The thing that I love the most, is that each lesson offers clear "How To" instructions as well as great photos. In addition, there are great sewing projects to do as well as the basic sewing instructions. Check it out and let me know what you think. http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/specials/episode/0,2046,DIY_14360_25158,00.html A Girl Can Never Have Too Much Fabric!

There are some odd things on that site under knitting - knitted boots for example - or the viking knitted wire...weird but fun. I found the serging directions confusing as every one I dipped into didn't seem to mention using a serger.
love and kisses, Jan

I like some of the stuff DIY has, as well as the HGTV site. I've tried to copy or print some of the instructions they have posted for the table runners and placements. Here's the link: http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/cr_sewing/0,1788,HGTV_3320,00.html Cookie Cookie

Thanks Ladyslopoke. First nice illustrations with their website as well. I love it when they use photographs or very good illustrations to demonstarte the idea they are trying to convey.
