I read in a mag. that when you are machine quilting a large quilt you can qiilt it in sections has any one did this and how do you put the sections together ? |

It's usually called "quilt as you go". I haven't done it yet but have a book with instructions on how to do it and have seen quilts made by others that have been quilted that way. linapooh1 there is also a technique that Marti Michel demoes that shows how to quilt sections of a large quilt and add the batting as you go instead of doing all of the sandwiching with batting before you start the actual quilting. Patsy Patsy
