Hello,

I just found this site...gratefully.

I am making a fitted bedspread and have decided to line it. My question is regarding the skirt. I think I should cut the lining a couple of inches shorter than the skirt, sew the bottom, right sides together, turn it right sides out, turn up the hem about 2 inches, then serge the top. Am I correct?

That's one way to do it - simple, but best of all, it works well.

I am supposed to add 12 5/8" to the length of the side panel for the pleat and seam; 2 1/8" to the depth for seam and hem. Do I just eliminate most of the allowance for the hems on the lining and only have enough to tuck under the stitching? :bang:

Edited to say, "I finallly figured it all out" :bg: .
