I justspent the whole day at the Sewing and Crafts show here in Vancouver and some of the machines there were so incredible! I want a new sewing machine, and a new embroidery machine and a quilting machine and and and.... I hate to admit it, but I spent $50 on buttons. Can you believe that??? Test drove the most awesome Juki machine on a free motion quilting frame, I want one! Bought some gorgeous patterns from a woman in Delta who designs her own, bought a bunch of fat quarters for a jacket. Took a class with Ron Collins on making pockets, what great ideas he had. And a pants fitting class with Kathleen Cheetham from Burnaby, she was excellent too. Tomorrow is an embellishment class using a basic sewing machine and a zipper class! This is tooooo much fun!!!

Aw, no fair! I wanna go, too!

Where was it held? And how's the weather there these days? Tulips and daffodils in bloom already? I miss Vancouver sometimes... Except the traffic.

Some friends and I put our surplus supplies together and took them to a local swap meet this weekend. I got out fabric and supplies I have had for years! One gal had brought in bags of buttons, and lace, fringe... you name it! Last I heard, I had made almost $20.00, and all of my stuff was marked down to rock bottom prices! Yaaaaay!
