I was unsure where to put this so it ended up here. Let me know if it is not allowed/ considered adertisement of some sort. Are there any other Piedmont/ Triad sewers here? I sent for information on starting an ASG (American Sewing Guild) chapter in this area. Currently we have only the Charlotte and Raleigh options for meetings. I honestly was initially interested in whether there were any "neighborhood groups" in this area, but I haven't heard back from either of the 2 established chapters on the subject so I've assumed there aren't. If this is incorrect please let me know as it will be much easier to join a local group than try to get a new chapter off the ground. If we decide to try to form a new chapter here we will need at least 15 members/6 who are willing to serve as President and CAP (chapter advisory board) members. Is anyone interested? If not, Would you share where you shop so that I can get flyers out for a meeting to determine if there is enough interest? Thanks so much, Renee |
