Has anyone got the latest issue of Sew Beautiful? It has the most beautiful christening dress, bonnet and booties! They are too gorgeous for words. Made from fabric remnants, lace and a little floss plus ribbon for ties. Incredible.

Don't you love the little birds nest on the front that that little girls dress too with two small pearls for eggs. Those booties would be so cute as a shower gift too. Made from something washable of course! MaryW

I'm so out of the loop. This magazine is great!!!! Just gorgeus things - and they seem to fit more the style of what I would actually make than some others I've seen. Any other mags you would recommend - I'm particularly interested in onees that would help and inspire with heirloom sewing. Thanks, Brandy~ PS- unfortunately the back issues start at 2003 - so I wasn't able to look up those booties. Ah well. |

Mary, a great thing about those booties is, you can use dots and pleat your fabric by hand as the project is so small. Wonder if they would fit one of those larger doll babies. Nonie |
