Hi, I got some of my photos uploaded to our family website. Keep in mind that I am VERY VERY new to sewing! Lots of learn! The web address is http://groups.msn.com/swartzfamilyphotos and the album name is "Bella's Closet." (we call our little one "Bella" as a nickname hence the name.)

Julie, love what you've done! Especially like the cape and the overalls for your little one and she, of course, is the star of it all!! Thanks for sharing.

Julie
You have nothing to apologize about being beginning sewer. Your projects are well done and lovely. How wise of you to start taking pictures early in your sewing life! You will be glad you did as you will have something to look back at to measure your development and help your memories.
I have been sewing for 50+ years and how I wish I had thought to take pictures years ago. For several weeks now I have been thinking of a party dress I made while at university (FYI-nursing program) as I wished to see the colour and design on the fabric to liken it to something I am now sewing.
I did start to take pictures of some of my projects (but not clothing) about 15 years ago, but due to changes in cameras, moves and generally life I have lost most of them. Your pictures inspired me to find a book and put my pictures in as soon as I get them. I am glad you posted the inside of the diaper bag as I am trying to design one. All I can remember from the ones I had were terrible plastic that soon ripped apart.

Question: How long did it take you to make the jumper and pant suits from start to finish? I often think I should include in my sewing journals information such as this as I often 'bite off more than I can chew' in time planning. :bang:

Julie, I enjoyed your album and your sweet little girl. When looking at some of the winter pictures in your album I thought, hmm it looks rather warm there for wintertime..then I noticed a post at the bottom of the picture that named the town..I live in the same location. :bluesmile
