The average person only gets 7 correct. This is based on U.S. info, so use all lobes of your brain. This can be more difficult than it looks - it just shows how little most of us really see! There are 25 questions about things we see every day or have known about all our lives. How many can you get right? These little simple questions are harder than you think-- it just shows you how little we pay attention to the commonplace things of life. Put your thinking caps on. No cheating! No looking around! No getting out of your chair! ! No using anything on or in your desk or computer! Can you beat 20?? (The average is 7) Write down your answers as you go. Check answers (on the bottom), AFTER completing all the questions. LET'S JUST SEE HOW OBSERVANT YOU REALLY ARE. 1. On a standard traffic light, is the green on the top or bottom? 2. Forgot to mention that I got 19 1/2 right. I could only remember 5 of the 6 colors on a Campbell soup can. Hope you all have fun with the brain teaser! Peggy

humph - I only got 13 - but then I plead ignorance of things American! I could only get 5 of the Cambells soup can colours too - no matter how hard I tried to remember my Andy Warhol! By the way no. 10 is wrong - it is an urban myth that water goes clockwise down the drain in the Northern hemisphere and anticlockwise in the southern. Not only is the Earth's rotation too weak to affect the direction of water flowing in a drain, tests you can easily perform in a few washrooms will show that water whirlpools both ways depending on the sink's structure, not the hemisphere. love and kisses, Jan

I got 15 too. Remembering Bashful was the question that took the longest to remember and I have the Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs movie at home! Silly me. The clockwise/counter-clockwise questions were the hardest. - Maureen.

Well I had 19. The water in my house goes counterclockwise and I live north of the equator so I missed that one. I also only got 5 of the Cambells colors. I missed the fm radio dial by one number. OH and I missed the buttons on the blouse thing. I cheated by looking at my pants and I still got it wrong, guess the person who made my jeans doesn't know either. Whenever I make a blouse or something with buttons I jump on here and ask cause I can never remember. Gina

I got 21. The ones I missed I didn't even answer. Gina, the only way I can remember which side the buttons go on is to repeat the phrase "men left over" I don't remember where I picked it up from and I'm sure there is more to it but it hasn't failed me yet. I don't know why it sticks with me it just does. Brockie

I got 20 right. Didn't know how many matches in a matchbook. I use a lighter. Forgot if top stripe on the flag was red or white(oops) Fm dial...I said 87...it was 88...I have an MP3 player...don't listen to the radio No smoking sign, I think I got it wrong...I had the slash going / like so the direction a fan turns...can't say I really pay that close of attention to which way my fans go Anyway, it's a neat test...apparently everyone here is above average though!! I got most of them but there is one question that can be answered both ways........the cord on a venetian blind can be either on the right or left.....depending on which side the one who bought it wanted it on! When I ordered my blinds I was amazed that it was an option. Sharon |

actually the fan question is right and wrong....you can make overhead fans go either direction. (depending on which way you want the air to go, up or down....thats why the blades are canted to one side).
