What is finishing a seam? I saw on a different thread people talking about different ways to do it but still don't know what it is. As you can see I am really new to this. I have a Singer 5050 if that makes any difference. Can someone please tell me what it means and what the different kinds are and what they mean?
Thanks

Here's some articles that may help explain why and how to finish seams. Hope they help.
