Make Gracie a nice dress and work the peasant skirt idea into it. Then a cute little bolero top. All done in shades of her favourite colour.

I made this rhumba set for one of our school secretary's grandaughter. I have a 3 y/o son, so I like sewing cute stuff for little girls when I can. It looks like a one piece, but it is a set of capri pants with rhumba ruffles on them and then a halter top with a ruffle attached to the bottom. Then I appliqued a flower to the top using all the colors I used in the ruffles. I love how it turned out, but I won't make anymore  . Felicia

How do I attach a picture from my digital camera...mine has a disk...

Here is the Easter Dress I made for my dd last year. It was a pretty simple pattern, the hat was a PITA though!

I'm going to make simplicity 5083 (http://http://sew-whats-new.com/vb/showthread.php?p=150753#post150753)
in a white eyelet, lined with a baby-soft lilac voile for modesty and peek-a-boo effect. The pattern goes as small as size 3. Can't wait to start that project!

I just got through making this pattern for my dgd, view A. It goes down to size 2 and is just darling made up. I made it out of a green spring floral seersucker. It also fits very well. She is thin and the elastic in the back was wonderful!

For oldest GD age 6 I am almost finished making the dress Pink Lemonade from the Australian Smocking and Embriodery magazine. For the youngest GD I am making the Dasiy Marie dress from Sew Beautiful magazine. For the middle GD I made the Powder Puff from the Australian Smocking magazine. Now I did not do the smocking on the Powder Puff a friend of mine did it, but I am putting it together :). For me I am making nothing lol.

I used 2 different patterns(simple). The pants are a capri pattern that I added the ruffles to. The bottom 3 are on each leg, the next 2 up go all the way around the pants and the top(purple is attached to the halter top. I am a school teacher, so I don't have the pattern #'s with me, but I would be more than happy to look for you tonight. Felicia

I also made a matching baby sister dress. Our secretary at school has 2 beautiful grandaughters and I thought it'd be so cute for Easter and pictures to have matching dresses.http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/kdgteacher/MVC-018S.jpg

Heres a pic of my kids in their Easter pics. I made my DD's outfit and hairbow twirl skirt from the directions I got from here and a shirred top.

Wow everyone's Easter outfits are just adorable!!
I didn't get much Easter sewing done this year --maybe next year.

I have been seeing alot of the Rhumba outfits around and would love to make one for Sarah. I am gonna go through my fabric stash and see what I can come up with. I am sure I have enough for all of a top/capri pants. I would love to know which patterns.
