Eeechhh, well the posting message came through and now is time to pack up house and home (Nova Scotia is my home sigh...) and head to Ontario. Anyone wanna buy a house? :nah:
But I seriously have to declutter this place, amazing how much stuff you can collect in only 4 years, the only good thing is the baby is now 16 months old and I've been getting rid of baby stuff as he ages,
plus I have to ... check out schools, get an ON liscence (doctor stuff), house shopping, get this place ready to sell, close my office (people are MAD!!) and no one wants to move to Berwick to take over my practice, mortgate @&*(& and I have one child who is refusing to move (he's only 9 he'll get over it). I'm feeling a little whiny today, can you tell :whacky: and I have to work an evening shift tonight and then back at it at 8am tomorrow and saturday. UGH, don't go on vacation you pay for it when you get back!!

Oh Jeanette, moving is torture. Wait until you get one of those long, hot, humid summers under your belt. My husband was born there, I was brought up there.

Actually I liked moving....I hated the packing/unpacking part. I like 'new' things...luckily I've only had ferrets to move and they like new things too.
(sniffing is the first priority for a ferret).
It's Ok to be whiney when you're tired and stressed... [[[ ]]]
I'd buy your house, but they frown on Americans staying in Canada (for no reason) for very long...

I have a lot of military who live around me. There are houses being bought and sold frequently. There aren't many who have lived here as long as I have (15 yrs). I have a neighbour that is having to go through the same thing. He has just got his posting papers to Regina. He's meeting with the real estate agent today and has to move around July. I've been hearing all about his moving issues when I ride in to work on the bus. Hope your move proceeds well.

Jeanette, you can whine all you want!! I hope and pray that your house will sell really quick for the price you want AND that the house you need will be available and ready for you when you get to Ontario. Hey - just think of it as moving West, closer to Lotusland!!! :bg: Shucks, we're almost neighbours!!!

Laura if you will almost be a neighbour out in BC...I guess I will be one here in Ottawa!

well, we're not all that sure yet, Ottawa or Petawawa, so hot and humid! The house is officially on the market as of Mon so now it is sit and wait and try to keep it tidy etc. Not a small feat with 4 rugrats. But we shall try. I think every military members posting date is July 10. The moving companies must hate that but the realters love it!! Guaranteed sales in all military towns!!
I'm hoping for Ottawa but housing prices are out of this world there (but nothing compared to BC).
Thanks for listening
