Hi, I am new to machine embroidery but have managed to do quite a lot of things already!! However I would like to be able to embroider on towelling slippers - does anyone know how to do that please? They need to look like these ones i found on this website...http://www.weddingstand.com/index.cfm?action=cat.prodInfo&productID=985 Just thought I would mention I am in the UK, thanks for your help. The only machine I know that will embroider on those is the EMP6 or the PR600 which are cross-over machines between the home and professional embroidery machines. They will allow you to slip the sho onto a little sleeve and do the embroidery with the shoe solidly intact. They'll also do monograms on men's shirt pockets while they are attached to the shirt. Otherwise, the only way I know to do this is to take one side of the slipper apart, do the embroidery and then resew. If you turn it wrong side out to do the embroidery you wouldn't be able to see what you were doing for the sole of the shoe. pam

Thank you so so much for replying! I have a Janome 300E so can see now why I cannot use that to do slippers! I have bought 50 pairs of slippers so am going to try unpicking a pair first but in future I will definitely use your idea Joanee and buy the velcro ones. Once again many thanks! Christine |
