It is reversable but I have a feeling she will only wear it on the purple side. This is one of those projects you are tottally stunned when it comes out right!! The pattern wasnt reversable but I just cut two with out the lining s and went from there!!

Also My nieces first easter, her mommy wasnt going to buy her an easter outfit so I made her one!! Not done yet I still have to put the lace and ribbon across the waiste but we are going to try it on first.

Also some one asked about snaps and snap tape, I bought this interesting snap putter onner thing at Joannes and it works great!! Was like $17 for the clamper and about $3 for snaps. It took my husband a whole bag of snaps to figure out how it worked but was well worth it they are strong!!

Just sharing again!!

What a great idea to make it reversible!
Was she surprised? Did she help you pick out the fabric?

Cute as can be Stephi. Your daughter and niece will love their outfits. I just finished a turquoise plisse dress that I fully lined. This was a community service project for my church's Adopt-A-School program. Turned out great. Now, I'm working on a hot pink crepe and hope to get a buttery yellow crepe dress cut out so I can turn in all 3 dresses before Easter. I used the Lizzie McGuire Simplicity pattern #4721 (view A) in size 12. Then I get to make my DD an Easter dress by Simplicity pattern #4533 (view A). One day I will figure out how to post photos.
Happy Stitching!

Those outfits are just too cute for words--and doing a reversable outfit like that is a stroke of genius!! I can't wait to see pics of the girls actually wearing them-they are gonna be the prettiest girls in your family on Easter! Thanks for sharing!

Darling clothes; bet she looks adorable! I made my DGD an Easter dress. It is one of the pillowcase dresses, white, all tucks and eyelet trim, lace, tied on the shoulders with white grosgrain 1-1/2" ribbon, and it was done from a pillowcase I made about 40 years ago. She has some new white slippers to wear with it. I just hope she is well enough (has a virus) to wear it Easter. She is about 2-1/2 years old with blue eyes and wavy light brown hair down past her shoulders. :coffee2: MariLynntx

How adorable! I love the fabrics you chose. Mine would spend all day trying to decide which side to have facing out, but she'd probably prefer the purple, too. She loves picking out her own fabric for projects, and almost always chooses something with a purple background. Unless it's Winnie the Pooh, of course  .
