I want to make a raffle quilt w/hot air balloons on it. Any ideas on where to find a pattern? I am thinking I may have to make my own applique pattern, which is fine but wanted to explore the resources...you guys! thanks,Sandy |

Have you checked quilterscache.com? One of my favorite sites-you might be able to find a square you could adapt.

I don't know if you do paper piecing but here is a hot air balloon pattern. http://www.geocities.com/pcpiecers/hotair.html Here's a quilt that was made with the paper pieced balloon. Can give you some ideas. http://infohost.nmt.edu/~breynold/quilts/balloon.html A wall-hanging pattern to purchase. http://www.warehouseshops.com/catalog/itemdesc.asp?CartId=146177-EVEREST-04FYEPK35&Ic=QWDEA0507W&Cc=&tpc= Hope this helps.
