Just checking to see if anyone is up for another scavenger hunt. It's been a while since we did one of these. I was thinking a "summer" theme with due (mailing) date around mid-June.

For those new swappers - synopsis:

You cannot participate if you have not participated successfully in past swaps (fq, scavenger or other swap). I will need you to email me your username, real name, mailing address & telephone number (will not be shared, only for emergencies). If you haven't participated in a past swap hosted by me, please let me know what swaps you have participated in so I may confirm with hostess. Please, even if you’ve participated in my past swaps, email me with your information so I can file it in my Scavenger Hunt folder.

These rules may seem strict, but based on past experiences, the board has decided to set participation rules. Before committing to this swap, please carefully consider if you will be able to fulfill the swap. If you do need to drop out of the swap or will be late, please contact me immediately. If you do not fulfill your obligation to this swap after committing, you will not be permitted to join future swaps of this type.

Try to keep your spending at about the $20 (USD) mark (PLUS postage costs). One item must be homemade (your choice).

So - anyone up for a scavenger hunt? The $20 is debatable too - we can decrease to $15 if you'd like, but if we did that I would decrease the number of items you're scavenging for (there are usually 10 items).

I hve not been in one of your scavengar hunts before but I had a blast in your 2005 Stocking Swap! Matter of fact, the partner I got was GreenDragonLady, and she and I have become good friends since then. I learned so much about her, and she in turn with me, and we have such a good time online to each other now. So this has really got my curiousity up! What kind of things are on the list to hunt for? Thanks! Dorene(OKNANA)

Haven't even thought about a list yet - but this was last year's Summer Scavenger Hunt list (limit was around $20 USD to spend as there were 12 items):

1. Luau
2. Insects
3. Pinwheels
4. Beach/ocean/pool/swimming
5. Summer makes me think of sunglasses, so how about a bright/neon fq
6. Fruits/veggies
7. Something summery or quilty that begins with 1st initial of recipient’s name 8. something star shaped
9. Summer food item/drink recipe
10. travel related
11. summer colored thread
12. Summer homemade item

Now these items can be ANYTHING relating to the topic, so for example - LUAU - anything you might use at a luau, or that makes you think of a luau - last year I sent a FQ with luau items on it.

ITEMS TO SCAVENGE FOR WILL BE DIFFERENT THIS YEAR.
