FLOWERS is the theme for this month, you must e-mail me your address to <email address removed for privacy> if i do not have it already, and if the e-mail is different from where you are sending make sure i get that too, as i will be using that e-mail to do the forwarding.

this is decentralized, so i will be sending you the names and you will be sending fat q's in 100% cotton that are approx. 18 X 22 to all those on the list.

i will be sending the list out to all involved by the 2nd of May with mailing date no later than the last week of the month

e-mail me if you have any questions at <email address removed for privacy>

Lyn, the trip was great, thanks for asking. Even though the shopping time was only on Saturday, quilt shops open at 8am, mostly and most of the shops close around 5pm...I found some great bargains and some super cute baby cribsize quilt tops, all ready to back and sew. I am the official baby quilt, receiving blanket and bib provider for new arrivals at our Church..so it's lots of fun to get out of the city and see new patterns.

Debby: have a great "ME" day. I have taken today off to do some odd things that I procrastinated doing. Of course, I am sitting here in front of the computer and thinking.. "wow this is more fun.. reading, surfing and visiting my favorite places on the internet"

So I ask you will I get those "odd" things done... :whacky: NOT!!!

Pat: wow girlfriend.. what did you do? I hope that you are feeling better.. it is great to have a circle of friends there for you. I do hope that you will be up and around real soon...

Carman: WOW dear Canadian buddy... your "ticker" is looking mighty fine. I can see that you stick to your guns and make the "losing" weight a wonderful success story. I need to find out just what kind of a diet you are on, as I need to lose about 30 lbs!!!

Lynn: you are a wonder... getting the flowers picked and mailed out!! you are a great team player.

I hope everyone is feeling fine!!

Wow Karen! Great Rah Rah for everyone! I love it-everyone needs that sometimes. Thanks!

Pat I'm hoping you are feeling better soon-glad you have people near you that you can depend on-makes life so much easier in a crisis.

Way to go on that diet Carman! Wish I had the willpower you have! I love those tickers-lets you see progression even if you don't see it in the mirror, etc.

Good morning,

I'm close to having my q's in the mail. I have all but one sealed and ran 5 inches short on the last q's...so off the the store to buy more. I decided I would buy enough for another q' and a dress for myself...and all the fabric I chose was gone! And I had to pick a new one for the last q'. The new fabric is drying on the line now.

Will have my packages in the mail on Monday.

The mailman picked up my fat q packages this morning and left a beautiful one from Lyn. I love the colors! Thank you, Lyn.

This exchange stands to be even more "exciting" than the last with all the color possibilities.

I usually get an e mail that tells me there are new posts but I didn't. So I thought there weren't any new posts yet. I decided to visit this morning and noticed five more. I wonder why I wasn't e mailed? Oh well! I am glad you liked the fabric and it arrived in good shape. Quite timely too.

Hi Karen,

I received your fat q in the mail yesterday. I love it! Thank you for the "scented dreams". I tried to check out your site and it game me a "site under construction" message. I'll go back. Maybe you could let us know on this thread when it is back up...I have that age old memory loss problem...or is that old age memory loss? I can't remember. :)

That makes a total of three fat q's for me. (Lyn, Lara and Karen)

Mine landed in all these boxes...

Julie, Pat, Becka, Lara, Karen, Lyn, and Debby. That leaves one to be delivered.

I promise to get mine mailed tomorrow, I have envelopes and labels ready. My first of 4 days off, I spent at Eye & Ear hospital, I had some major eye floaters which today was accompanied by a sandy looking substance. To make a long story short, the doctor was quite pleased NOT to find any retinal damage, the floaters and other yuk was the remnant of a broken blood vessel. Besides it's a little hard to type with your eyes still dilated... Thanks a bunch for being so patient.

Received fabric from Pat and Debby, makes a total of five...all are so pretty. I have decided that I will take an 8" square from each piece and make me a crazy patch purse...won't that be pretty?

My fabric went in the mail yesterday..sorry I was so late this month. Will try to do better next time.

That sounds like a great idea, Becka. You'll have to take a picture and share it when you finish it.

Not a problem with being late...I'll probably be the late one in June. I don't have a foggy idea what fossil fern is...

Julie, thank you for the pretty flowers....If I have failed to acknowledge the receipt of your FQ arrival, I am sorry but everyone's has arrived and I am off to the basement (my sewing area) to create a new purse. When I get it finished I will try to get a friend to upload a picture. I haven't purchased a digital camera YET.

Everyone have a great day.... Becka
