A package came for me today from www.nutsonline.com
I didn't order these nuts. They had my correct name, the address was wrong by one number (but the FEDEX person knows the area) and my home phone (unlisted, unpublished and I DON'T give it out or print it anywhere) was on the outside...There was no packing slip. I've never been to nuts online.
(in fact the nuts that came I'm allergic to.)
So...I would like to know who did it...thank you if you're in here...but it wasn't necessary....
If it WASN'T someone in here...well...I don't know what I'm going to do.....

But I DO love a mystery !!! :wink:

and before you ask...no there are no charges to my credit card or my PayPal acct. So someone didn't 'steal' acct numbers...

Ooooo, that's a little weird & creepy. :sad: My aunt had that happen (she sent herself Fannie Mae). They'd gotten hold of her checking account information and got a credit card in her name. took her several months to fix her information and scared the daylights out of her. I'd be very cautious about it, especially if it is something that you are allergic to. :nervous:

Plus, being the weekend, it may not have hit your account yet.

Don't know what else to say.
Peggy

So little time, sew much to do...........

Do you or did you ever belong to an organization that had secret sisters? I'd be a little unnerved but it seems like you have checked things out. If it were me I probably signed for something at a fair or something ... and would remember 6 months from now. I must remember not to put my name in for prizes at the home show tomorrow. And I definitely will not put my phone number in.
Did you have to sign for it?

I wonder if you could contact the company and find out how and by whom it was ordered.

Found out today.....it was my father-in-law....yep...sent me nuts, no note, didn't say a word. (he must e-mail me every day.) He doesn't know I'm allergic to walnuts. He sent black walnuts and chocolate covered macadamia's...now luckily I can eat the macadamia's :wink: . My husband will be stuck eating the walnuts...

I was hoping for a better mystery...I LOVE a good mystery...::heavy sigh::

It seems to me it was a mystery - and one that took a few days to figure out! :dave: What would be a better mystery?
