Hello Kitty is Japanese and is trademarked. I doubt that you can find a design that isn't pirated from another country.

i have a co-worker who is a fanatic about hello kitty. at xmas i wanted to applique a pillow for her and i went to a search engine and got all kinds of hello kitty pictures that were great.
the site i found is for coloring book pages and you can copy them out.
they are free and as long as you dont sell them you are ok.
hope this is what you are looking for. it was great for me.

I purchased a White card of Hello Kitty I used it with my Amazing box to get the designs. They are great but brother pulled the card. Sometimes you can find a used card on Ebay they go for about 100.00. If you look on Ebay and find a CD it is not a legal copy

Also if you are looking for a new machine. In January of this year Brother revealed their new Innovis machines. There will be ones with Snoopy and Hello kitty already built in.
The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!
