The hook n' eye didn't look right so I pulled out the Singer Photo Guide to Sewing. There was a pic of how to do thread loops and it was very easy to understand. I ran a little short on thread but once it's buttoned you can't tell the whole thing isn't "wrapped".

Cool. :up: I have made them before. I made one once that was quite large, it took f-o-r-e-v-e-r.

It was sooo ez! Next time I'll use an embroidery thread to make it a little sturdier. I was so excited - of course my dh didn't understand.
I don't get it when he gets excited about a new tool either so I guess we're even.

Sturdier, and a faster process too. I've used topstitching thread, too, b/c that's also a heavier weight. A single strand of all-purpose thread just doesn't finish it as nicely.
