For those of you with babies, toddlers or grandbabies (or to be) check out the thread in Sewing/Quilting business about making maya wrap carry slings. I just made one using one of the posted links and it works great, though my choice of fabric (stash) leaves something to be desired. One of the links has great video on how to use the slings as well. Enjoy, I sure am! Melanie

I have made a couple of slings using the sling rings that I ordered off of the internet and they are very simple to make. I have 2 to make for gifts. A girlfriend taught me how to make them and she made it look so simple. I did find it a bit harder than she made it look! I wish I had one of them when my little one was smaller. I had a Baby Bjorn and didn't like it at all.

Julie I'm the opposite of you, I hated my sling (gave it to my sister in law, she loved it) and loved the Baby Bjorn, I have itty bitty shoulders and could never get the sling to hang right even after minor surgery on the sewing machine.
