OK, I'm going to bite the bullet and order my favorite pattern mag. In your opinions, where is the best place for me to get a subscription to the magazine? Should I just go to their site, or is there something in the US that would be faster? (Can you tell I'm DYING to get my hands on their magazine!)? In the meantime, does anyone have an Ottobre pattern I could borrow for a child's pullover hoodie (Euro size 104)? Pref. girl-cut, but happy with a general kids' hoodie. I would be eternally grateful, mail you chocolate, something nice... I have a "hoodie emergency" for my 4 y.o. Kelly (kelly AT hogaboom DOT org) see the mundane life of a housewife.

I believe the "local" site is Woolythread. Hopefully someone will come along with the correct answer but I'm pretty sure that's it. Is the pattern you are looking for recent? I only have a couple of the magazines but would be happy to send you the pattern if I have it. Lyn

I actually bought my first magazine a few months back and I think I paid like 10.00 for it in USD. I cannot remember where I ordered it from but probably can find it. I'll look through it as well and see if there is a pattern like you described!!

http://www.ottobredesign.com/lehdet_js/2005_4/kuvat/kannet/kansi_en.jpg The best recent Ottobre pattern for what I'm looking for right now (a hoodie)is from Winter 2005 or 4/2005 (http://www.ottobredesign.com/lehdet_js/2005_4/index.html?en). It's design #34 (here at far right, center (http://www.ottobredesign.com/lehdet_js/2005_4/all_designs_4-2005.pdf)). Here's a picture: http://www.ottobredesign.com/lehdet_js/2005_4/sivut/6.jpg I went to woolythread (http://www.woolythread.com/) and it looks perfect! Thank you for the tip. I am so excited to subscribe! Now to scrape up the extra $55... see the mundane life of a housewife.

Sorry, Blackie, I don't have that issue. But I bet someone here does and can send you the pattern.
