I bought a new machine. I was in the mood today. lol

I decided to keep saving for that expensive one I really want, but to buy one better than I have already in the meantime.

I decided on the Singer 7426, Ingenuity. I got the bonus pack with it - so there is soooo many extras (too many feet to count). I also got a CD with 10 projects on it - I'd be glad to share, they are pdf files. One is a tote bag!

:bg:

I've been test driving it all morning, and I can trade this one up when ready for the better one! God do I love that extension table! The automatic needle threader . . . I could go on. Sorry!

Whoo hoo - back to checking this out - so many fancy stitches! I was so used to straight and zig zag only!

I really love this machine. I've already used the finishing top stitching designs on a new outfit - it sews smooth and quiet, and it's super speedy!

I had no idea what I was missing!

It was the best value for the money - absolutely no qualms about it so far.

It sounds like you are ready for the June themed project!! I am a little disheartened because Julie S sent my daughter a little purse and is is soo good!!! The ribbon lines up, the handles are nice and clean, I am just a little intimidated by it, but I am going to try anyways!!

We can be beginers together.

Stephi - I know - my Mom makes such nice stuff (totes and bags), I am just afraid I will try and then hate it because it isn't as good as hers!

Congrats on the new Singer, Butterfly!! I'm a Singer lover from way back and I know which machine you have! I've been told it's a great little workhorse of a machine, and I know you're gonna be on this honeymoon for a while (was there myself a year and a half ago!). My new Singer machine didn't come with an extra CD with projects :bluesad: but I do have many nice feet including a walking foot that came with it as a bonus pack! I'm so bummed that it's been discontinued now. I'm looking forward to seeing what you make with your new baby...please post some pics for us in the future!!

That machine is so fast! I have so far been very impresed. Spending lots of time "embellishing" my clothes with the fancy stitches! LOL
