My daughter was here yesterday to work on her wedding skirt. We got a lot done and got it to fit around the top.
I think it is still a bit low and once all the tiers are on it might fall off during the ceremony.
She didn't want to mess with it anymore so she said it is fine.
I think I am going to take it in another half inch or so.
But I'm not going to tell her, so she will think she got fat!! :bg:

Mine was on an exclusion diet for candida the month before the wedding and lost weight - we had straps - she hates topless feels too insecure.
Go one Daorthy, squeeze her in there!

Well, if is should fall off during the ceremony, it will certainly be a wedding people will remember....

Hey Dorothy....
Just think, if the dress slips a little bit, you'll have two family heirlooms to pass on...the dress....and the hysterical video of the wedding!

Maybe you could make a little money by selling it to one of the "home video" shows.

You guys are meaner than I am!! I took it in nearly an inch. If it is still falling off she will have to eat a couple donuts before the ceremony!!
One more tier to put on there -- I think it's about seven miles long before gathering.

Well, by wedding time it might do more good to put the donuts in the dress, not the girl.

Nah Laura,
She's got a foam rubber thing she refers to as the boob bra in the top.
Besides, the way the bottom is going she may have to do without the top.

My children were not very blessed. I purcased some exexpensive silicone based "ones" for her to use all through high school when wearing her band uniform, evening gowns, etc. We call them the "boobs in a box".

IT'S DONE!!! IT'S DONE!! IT'S DONE!!!
All the gathers are done!!
Finished, complete!!!
Just one row --one very long row -- of top stitching and slap on the facing at the top and the skirt is done.

I can't wait for you to post a picture!

Jan --
Top isn't finished yet but I'm not worried. Nothing is going to get in or out of that bra without her aid.
