What a Treat for Quilters.. On one of the UNC HD Channels on Cable TV they are showing from the beginning series. Lap Quilting with Georgia Bonesteel.. What a treat ! ! ! the first series is over and they just started the 2nd.. It says it was a couple of years after the first one..(I could never see the copyright date on the first) Copyright date on 2nd one is 1981.. I have enjoyed them so much.. She started with 9 patch and went thru so many patchwork patterns (names and all varietions names) So interesting.. She looks so young.. But I wish you all could see these.. Check with your PBS stations to see if they can get them.. I have learned her joining technique and it looks so simple.. I love her instructions.. She is so natural in her delivery.. You never get an idea she is reading.. (she may not be).. She makes it look totally spontaneous.. What a TREAT ! !
