Once upon a time, someone posted a post here and said something like: This is how I put in a zipper.... I'm fairly certain this was in a reply to someone, I have NO idea what the original question was (though it probably had something to do with a zipper), and I don't remember when this was, but I do think it was months ago. The instructions were very simple, were completely different from what I was taught way back when I rode my dinosaur to highschool sewing class, and I was just fascinated. I think the instructions involved putting in the zipper with the seam open (not sewn shut), and I definitely remember that they involved sewing both sides of the zipper in the same direction. The person who posted them said she used this method for both invisible and regular zippers and had for years. I was just absolutely blown away by the concept and I said to myself, "I'm going to print these instructions out and keep them!" And did I do this? OF COURSE NOT! I've tried the search feature, but can't remember enough to search on. Any ideas? Sparky

Don't know if this is the thread you are talking about but there is the topic of sewing the sides in the same direction... http://sew-whats-new.com/vb/showthread.php?p=122936#post122936 TTFN from
