I have the PE Design 6. I am trying to applique a design from a digital picture file (tif). I am able to digitize the object in the picture but I can't seem to even get into a mode to look at the applique wizard. The object does not have a well defined outline. There are several that I am trying to appique. They are ocean life designs. Each contain many colors but would only require 1-3 basic pieces of fabric to applique. I have read the manual pages on applique until I have it memorized but must be missing something very important. Since the objects have fill colors that I do not want is there a way to get an ouline when there is not a defined outline other than the fill color? I have always got the impression that applique can be very easy with the PED but I am a bit overwhelmed and frustrated. I would love to learn! Thanks!! :whacky:

You mean there is actually software for applique'? I love applique', but I can't imagine using any kind of software to actually do such a straightforward design applicaton. Freemotion is so much more creative and interesting than automatic embroidery! MariLynntx
