im looking for the direcections to make a ruffle shirt out of a jean shirt if any one knows how i would appricate it |

can't remember who had the post but I think it was cut the jeans off just below the crotch so it opens up and attach a ruffle or two-length of skirt determined by the width of the ruffle. Hope that helps some. I'm sure someone will come along with better directions.

I finished one like that earlier this year for my DD. I took an old jean skirt she had and then added two rows of ruffles to the bottom. I have also made a jean skirt from a pair of her old jeans, by ripping out the inside seam and inserting a piece from the leg into the triangle opening at the bottom. the hemming the bottom of the now skirt. It worked really good, since the jeans I was using had flowers on the bottom, for the front insert I used that part of the leg, so the skirt have flowers on it. http://new.photos.yahoo.com/tiger_lily_boutique/album/576460762343655147 Here is a picture of the skirt with the ruffles |
