Where can I buy this? Joanne's doesn't have it (I am caucasian BTW). I saw some tips for this on Sew Much More and want to try it.

I saw the same show several months back, and I've had my eyes open for it too. I even asked at our better fabric store, and they said, "wow, no, I've never seen it, but what a great idea!" Andrea

I don't know about flesh coloured interfacing or where one could get it so this is a hint. Whenever I find something too white or not flesh coloured I soak the fabric in tea. One has to play around with the concentration to get what you want but it does a fantastic job on most all fabric (try to get it out when you don't want it!)

Seems to me that Palmer/Pletsch have it as well. Not sure though.

Not sure I have ever thought of a reason to need flesh coloured interfacing. But good to know where to find it when it comes time!! I was thinking of that stuff they use for skate outfits, LOL, the blonde is natural!! Stephi

Nope Stephi, the skating stuff is called glistenette or matte mesh. It's not stiff at all. Very sheer though. Can't use it as an interfacing.

If you saw that show, it was demonstrated how there was a need for it with a lot of projects! I have a question though, why is one of them almost burnt red colour? Is that the one that turns out best for caucasians? Xena the Sewing Princess ~ I have many skills

Floriani makes flesh colored stablizer but I don't know about interfacing. I have the flesh colored stablizer.
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

I think the beige would match most caucasian skin tones. The sand would be for more of a tanned or hispanic skin & the mocha for dark skin tones. I wish I was in CA so I could visit their shop. Barb

Try Judy Barlups site www.uniquetechniques.com as I believe she carries flesh tone interfacing. Happy Stitching! Marty It takes one moment to change a life.
