I was sent this a day or so ago. If you can help her, please post here. Thanks. Hi Mary, First of all, your newsletter has been a tremendous help to me in my sewing adventures. I recently bought a dual feed pressure foot to use when I quilt because I read that it would make my sewing so much easier. It might for everyone else in cyber space, but it doesn't for me. My problem is that nothing moves. I tried to machine quilt a quilt that I made for a friend; when I started sewing, the quilt under the foot would not move. I had to pull it to make it move and the thread on the back of the quilt was a mess of knots and tangles. It was horrible. What am I doing wrong. Is it my tension that is too tight? I need help!!! Mary, Somehow it sounds like she has the feed dogs dropped while using this pressure foot. Maybe she is confused about free-motion quilting and dropping your feed dogs, but then not bringing them back up to do striaght line stitching. Patty
