I am looking for a pattern to make my granddaughter some bibs since she is such a drooler. I have not sewed for several years and am trying to get back into it. Any help would be appreciated. You can also email me at <email address removed for privacy>

Thank you

Take a finger towel cut a hole (I think I use a small plate size). Put ribbing around hole. Viola!!

HI Gayla:

I personally have never made a bib but, have made notes on these things as I have traveled on the internet,

I have some pattern numbers.....you can see if you are interested in doing any of these just go to their website or they can help you at the fabric store look them up and see if you might like them.

I have seen Mccalls M3665 and then there is an out of print that is M4811 that has an outfit with it too...you can order that on line if you wanted to.

Then I have seen Butterick: B4533

Then if you go to this address you can find a free bunny bib pattern:
www.sewing.org/enthusiast/html/esb_bunny_bib.html

My mother made me a few bibs out of hand towels, that are partially folded down at the top of the towel and then she sews on the binding for ties and tacks down the folded over partthen she usually puts a few cute patches or she uses a towel that has a design already and just incorporates it..One of the cutest ones she made for my son had these really cute ABC's on them...My sister and are are very fond of these and they really last and can stand up to multiple washings.
Happy sewing.
