Hi everyone! Well, the wedding was last night -- I can't believe it's over already! Here are a couple pictures of me in the dress -- we will be getting our professional pictures in a couple of weeks. There are just the ones my husband's mom took -- http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i231/kemartin2/KaitlinBob_sWedding064.jpg Please excuse my goofy expression here, but it's about the best picture of the dress I have so far: http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i231/kemartin2/KaitlinBob_sWedding015.jpg The two ladies in green are my sisters (and bridesmaids), and the dapper looking man is my little brother, who was my "man of honor." Just for fun, here's one of the whole wedding party: http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i231/kemartin2/KaitlinBob_sWedding044.jpg Thanks again for all your help and support here! In the end, the dress worked out great. It wasn't perfect, but, heck, I made it! I think I finished hemming on Thursday -- a whole day to spare. I did make the sash on Friday night, though! http://www.sew-whats-up.com - the new home for Sew What's New

I love the sash and your dress looks wonderful! I hope your honeymoon plans aren't just to post pictures to the forum? You should be so proud of yourself! Be sure to keep your dress and fabric scraps (the green will look nice in the baby quilt) - down the road when you're taking that path. Patty

Kaitlin You look radiant and absolutely lovely. I love the shoulders on the dress. Congratulations. I hope you had a good party! In the long run, I bet you will treasure these pictures more than your professional ones. I agree with Patty, however, and hope this isn't your honeymoon. *~*~*~* Nancy*~*~*~* " I try to take one day at a time - but sometimes several days attack me at once."

Haha, no, this isn't the honeymoon -- we are headed to my husband's family's cabin in northwestern Wisconsin, but we decided to leave tomorrow since we are a bit tired today and it is a 5 hour drive. Thanks for all the compliments!
