I bought the very expensivePalette 6.0 last year with my new embroidery machine. What a mistake. I have spent a year bouncing my head off the wall, unable to get this program to work. The instructions book is a joke...everyother instruction is sending you to a new place in the book for new instructions. My dealer doesn't even like it..she said she just can't get it to sew out correctly. So now I am stuck with a very expensive program that doesn't work and won't sew out a pattern without skips and overlaps in the colors. They have a new workbook out...but it is sealed so you can't see what it is...another rip off. I have sent an e-mail to the company...don't imagine I will get a response. Any one out there want a 6.0? Sue |

One nice thing about the Artista Software is that the dealer will get you started with some basic training which can be retaken if need be. I may be spoiled but it doesn't take a whole lot to get me started, I just need some basics. I don't think that I would purchase a software for a sewing machine without some basic lessons. In addition my dealer offered a special "club" which is getting ready to start back with the fall which allowed you to concentrate on a specific attribute of the software. It is sooooo much fun and it moved me miles down the road!!!!! I really enjoy the software training because all you need is your laptop...so much nice than lugging a heavy machine and all the extras to a meeting!
