I have at least three big rubbermaids full of small and meduim sized scraps. They are of various types of fabrics. I am wondering if anyone would be willing to take some of these off my hands. I am thinking of 5 dollars for 5 pounds + shipping. I will accept payment by paypal. or make me an offer!! Does any body know if this type of stuff would sell on ebay? Sher My website

Good luck Sher, anyone who sews has this problem. I found a club that makes bears for children in the hospital and a camp for kids that will take them. Look around your community and see if there's a good place to donate them. Lots of quilt clubs will take them and schools sometimes will take some if they do art projects. It took awhile to find someone but they were thrilled to get them. |

I will pay the postage if you send them to me. I can use some because all my scraps disappeared when I move, who knows where! My church quilting group will use them if I don't! We make lap quilts for ill people in hospitals, rehab hospitals, and nursing homes. MariLynntex e-mail: <email address removed for privacy> |

Anybody else intersested in scraps? They are all under FQ size and are of various types of fabric. I will send for the cost of shipping. The 5 lb package I shipped to Marilynn cost about $20.00. Or maybe we can work out a swap. Sher My website

Sherri--are they solids or prints or both? I am looking for any scraps in order to do my daughter's memory quilt. I am putting borders around the photos and she likes very colorful things so I think I could use a wide array of colors and/or prints. Let me know! Thanks, Julie

Mailing tip: The Post Office have three sizes of flat rate boxes that are free for the asking. The shipping could then be calculated by the size of box. You are allowed to tape these things closed and weight is not an issue, the rate would be flat. The envelope mails for $4.05 There are two boxes that are $8.10. One is square and the other is rectangular. I have never wanted to use the bigger one so don't know how big it is, but it mails at $17.50, I believe. Hope this helps your mailing needs. |

Well, that is a bummer! Sorry to have not noticed you were in Canada... blame it on my being a newbie to the forum. |
