This young lady is on her way, what a talent she has. I wonder where it will take her. http://www.tmnews.com/articles/2006/07/18/sections/lifestyles/lifestyles63.txt MaryW

Great outfit and story. I wish our community had 4-H clubs but they don't. The Agricultural Extension office tells me that they don't have sewing classes either. Unless one takes private lessons, there are not any places for young people to learn to sew unless one is not college bound. Then it is offered for 3 weeks in high school as part of the Family and Consumer Science curriculumn. Sad ... Marty It takes one moment to change a life.

Great outfit... luckily our local HS teaches sewing as does 'my' dealer. (she has classes in the summer for all kids.) We don't have 4-H here either, but we did when I was in HS in CA., but they didn't teach sewing, it was mostly gardening and animals. I hope she keeps sewing.... Chrys

Nice story, Mary. This girl needs to be teaching! Teaching me that is, how to power sew and get an outfit done in 2 days! |
