I could not find a shirt pattern in the style that i needed so i brought a jacket pattern. Do i reduce the size by one size or do i just sew in a 1/4 more of a seam allowance.

Thanks

Jada

Edited: Also the pattern is a woman's pattern and these shirts are for males so there is no dart needed....do i tape it shut then cut the fabric or do i just cut the fabric and not sew in the dart....i might be that it is 225 am and that i cant think straight but i need some help with this

Thanks again

Jada
