I can't figure this out and thought maybe someone could help me! Occaisonally, I'll be sewing along and my bobbin thread will just ball up underneath! Sometimes, I have to stop sewing and fix it, usually it will just ball up, then go right back to sewing fine. I'll turn my project over and sure enough in several spots, the thread will be screwed up. If it did it and didn't stop, I would think to rethread the machine, or check the bobbin. When I do check, everything is fine. What's up?

Do you make sure the presser foot is up when you thread the tension?

Yes, it is up. I might have figured it out. I didn't realize there was a small screw that adjusts the bobbin tension. I didn't even know there was a "bobbin" tension. I knew about the tension control up top, but not below. I tightened it an eighth of a turn and so far so good. (Or am too happy-too soon?)
