I was wondering if anyone had a pattern for a Walker carry-all. I have a friend who just had to start using a walker and she is having a tough time carrying her purse, cane, and pushing the walker. I know I could make a pattern myself, but I wanted to have it done before next year. Maybe someone knows a web site that has a pattern like this. If so please let me know. Thanks!

I googled "walker tote bag pattern" and came up with a bunch. Here's a couple of sites that have a bunch of links to patterns. Hope this helps.

Go down to Adult and find list of walker totes, etc.

Go down page and look for Wheelchair/Walker totes

My DD made one for her grandmother using the tops of some size 24 womens jeans. She used the double stitched seam as a handle. My MIL loves it because it has so many pockets. & the belt loops work for hooking her key chain to.

Hey Sherrey, There is a lady at church who made one for herself using a crib organizer pattern! Its wide enough that it goes across the whole front of her walker and she has several pockets so she has alot of nooks to put her stuff!!

Just a Thought.

walker caddy pattern (http://www.sewing.org/enthusiast/html/ec_walker.html)

The place where I used to work gave each patient a tote. It looked like a basic rectangular tote, except the straps were velcro, so the tote could easily hang from a walker or the handles behind a wheelchair.
