Good Morning. . . I live in an area without many shops with smocking services or supplies. I usually have to get everything in the mail. There is one shop kinda' close but they will not pleat unless you buy their fabric. Is the anyone who has a pleating service that will send it through the mail or do you reccomend doing that? |

I personally got tired of doing the same thing. By the time I spent the money for shipping and or gas I could have purchased about 10 pleaters. So I went out and bought one. I was very happy to learn that they gave free pleating classes with the purchase. I think you should look into this it would save you some time and money. Plus it was very easy to learn. I too purchased a pleater. It was well worth the investment. Pleating is not hard it just takes some practice at first. Lynne |

If you decide to buy one online and won't have access to pleating lessons, there are some videos here that really helped me: http://www.everythingsewing.net/videohowto2.htm photos.yahoo.com/greendragondesigns
