Hi, I have this machine, and while I enjoy the included Disney designs, what would be the best for me to purchase to use my own photos, or designs. What digitizer is best, is there only one I can use with the Brother, Is there another way. Thanks for your help |

Most digitizers are interchangable today. As are most photo digitizing programs. My suggestion would be to purchase the one that you will most easily get help with. I would not buy one from anywhere but a local dealer. Otherwise you may find yourself unable to get help as most dealers only teach on software they have sold (unless you move into a new area and already have it). Also upgrades, often free are only provided to the original registerer. I have personally known of two people that bought used software on e-bay and didn't get the dongle (key necessary to run the software). That software is usless. Companies will not replace or sell new dongles without you returning the damaged one. I could tell you which software I prefer but unless it is the one you would get the best local support on it would not be the best one for you. They're all good today but you'll need help to get started. Have fun or don't do it, Tom

I have the same machine as you and use PE Design, it does take a learning curve but enjoyable. Tom is right, do be careful where you buy software from. Embird seems to be one that alot of people use. |
