Hello everyone, I have a simple problem but can't for the life of me remember how to fix it. I've been sewing since I was 5 years old (63 now). I remember mother sitting at her treadle machine and I sitting on the floor next to her, sewing on buttons. I've been a diabetic for 30 years and my memory has become quite selective. Sorry, I'm rambling, I'll get to my problem. I'm a plus size lady ( yes I am a lady lol). I have broad shoulders and carry most of my weight up front. So materials other than knits flare out at the back and from the side I look like a triangle. I would appreciate any and all help. thank you, Abbyrose |

http://www.petitepluspatterns.com/ Kathleen Cheetham was at out Sewing and Craft show this spring and showed a lot of different ways to alter patterns. Her website is very easy to manuever and she has some great tips. I was a little dubious when I took her class as I am tall and slim, but I was really impressed!!! Laura

I took a pant fitting session with Kathleen Cheetam when she was in Ottawa. I learned a lot from her. I know this is off-topic, but Kathleen Cheetam has an article about full bust enlargements on this site. Here is the link http://sew-whats-new.com/CMS/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=125&Itemid=28 Maybe the Threads Magazine site will give you some help...to fit your body or to make a sloper/muslin.
