I've been enjoying my new baby and sewing carriers (he is a boy, can't make little dresses can I?). I have been having fun and wanted to share some of them. http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g144/topview/August2006013Small.jpg Silk dupoini ring sling http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g144/topview/RedPodegi001Small.jpg Red dragon korean podegi http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g144/topview/July2006027.jpg Buckle mei tai http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g144/topview/May2006049Small.jpg Japanese onbu with interchangable panels http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g144/topview/June2006070Small.jpg Chinese mei tai with wrap style straps This is a lot of fun, I am enjoying trying out the different tradionial carriers from many cultures! That looks cool!! Did you design them yourself or do you have a pattern for them? I would love to learn how to make them!!! The directions for many of them came from the do it yourself links I found on http://www.thebabywearer.com (drop down menu under articles, sewing and improvising) and http://www.sleepingbaby.net/jan/Baby There is an active diy forum on thebabywearer.com where I asked many questions while sewing these. Very nice job mama!!! I too make many types of slings/wraps. My personal fav to wear is the Mei Tai. You did great! |

It looks like you're having a load of fun with him! Enjoy! If you stray from the big-3 pattern companies, you'll find more boy-projects for him for when he gets too big to wear anymore. Kwik Sew, Summer Ottobre... The industry does seem to forget about the boys, doesn't it? No way you could though--he's so yummy!
