Everyone who signs up will be given a partner (if we have enough who want more than one partner, we can do that), and all you have to do is find a NEW, UNUSED decorative thimble to send to your partner(s). It can be from your home state, a tourist attraction, related to a hobby, or whatever theme you choose. I’m going to go out on a limb here and lift the restriction of previous swap participation. Please email me (<email address removed for privacy>)your username, real name, mailing address, telephone number (will not be shared, only for emergencies). Before committing to this swap, please carefully consider if you will be able to fulfill the swap. If you do need to drop out of the swap or will be late, please contact me immediately. Hoping to get my thimbles mailed Tuesday - it's my baby's first day of kindergarten, so I might not have a chance, but if not, then definitely Thursday (don't work Wednesdays). How is everyone else doing? judymo - post a hello! We're glad to have you in the swap! |

I appreciate the updates, thank you! I'll be getting mine in the mail Thursday at lunch time - I was only at work for half day Tuesday b/c it was the kids first day of school, so I didn't have time to package them up at work!

Will be mailing mine out this Friday. Lyn, yours came today!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!! Now I have to keep it from my brother who is a Train Buff ( he even has his license to drive one!) Does anyone have a good site to find the old print set boxes that printers used? My two small shadow boxes are over flowing with my thimbles and I need more room!!!! |

I bought one on Ebay for about $10 (plus shipping). It's about 1.5 feet x 2.5 feet.

Sewhappie, I'm glad you like the thimble! I couldn't resist when I found it on vacation-especially because I found it in the gift shop and no where near a fabric/quilt shop! My bil is a train buff too, I wonder if he'd try and take mine.

OMG, it's here! It's been here! I just yelled at my husband and son (who mean well but, well, you know...) and they dug around on their desks - yup, your thimble was in the package on hubby's desk with junk mail (thank goodness there were no bills that day!). My apologies for scaring you!
