Thats is like the MOTHER of all machines!!! LOOK AT THAT THING, its virtually got a computer boloted on!!! he he wow its amazing, can it do a zillion stitches? What made you go for it, are you professional or is it for home use? WOW I had a look to see how much they sell for in England and again WOW! LoL One question, I know it can virtually embroyder anything, but how is it for just plain old straight stitch sewing? |

Congratulations on that wonderful Machine. I still have my 9000 & have the 100001 & love them both. Also have the compulock serger. I've thought of selling the 9000 but I have so much invested in stuff to go with it & don't want to give it away. I do use it when I have both machines doing different things. I'd buy the one you did but I have too many machines now. 5 sewing & 2 sergers. My sewing is just for my enjoyment & making things for myself & gifts for others plus my grands. Have lots of fun with your new toy. I call my sewing room " my play room ". |

I've owned the 11000 since it came out. It does everything well. (the CD player it came with is only usable with Janome CD's. Don't attempt to use other CD's, you get an 'error' notice) I've sewn leather on mine. I quilt. I embroider...I even do overcast stitching so I don't have to get out the serger (now thats a pain to thread.) I like the fact the screen moves up and down so I'm not always hitting the screen when I quilt. (that was my biggest problem with my 10000/10001) Kath...(owner of the 11000, 10000/10001, 300E, 6500 QP and the Compulock) Chrys

I really want this machine at some point, but I am getting the 9700 for now. I've never done machine embroidery before so I didn't want to go all crazy with it before I knew whether I'd really use it much...so the 9700 will fit my needs for now. Plus, my dealer has a thing where if I decide within a year that I want to trade my 9700 in for an 11000, I get my FULL purchase price back as trade-in value...so how can I say no to that?? |

hi every one! i'm soooo into my new toy i have'nt been on the net for days! your right about that beachgirl! it is my playroom! i ca'nt get enough but having 2 very young children i fight for time to go there! my mother-in-law will be coming to stay soon for at least 2 months i'm dreading every single minute! she wo'nt let me move from the cooker! anyway your so right chrysantha about the screen! its a wonder! and i find the clothsetter a wonder aswell especially as an extension table! and all the things you asked johnboy are yes yes yes! to everything it sews beautifully! it changes from sewing to embroidery mode in just a press of a button! i think your dealer's good to give you that option Gaevren mine did the same he gave me a chance to play with the brother 4000d but i did'nt take it i knew from the beginning it was the 11000 i was in love with! the embroidery area's massive i embroidered a quilt block bought from kennykreations a few days ago and it looks fab! but i'm not buying from her again! i find her designs are toooo heavy and excessive stitching!
